Text Messaging Terms

These terms cover the text messages VP Landscape Design & Solutions LLC sends to its customers about their own landscaping service. They are not the terms of the landscaping work itself, which we agree with you in your estimate.
The program
If you opt in, we send you text messages about the service we are doing for you: reminders the day before a scheduled visit, notices when a visit moves, confirmation when a visit is finished, requests to approve extra work our crew finds on site, invoices, and payment receipts.
We do not send marketing or promotional text messages, and we never text you on behalf of anyone else.
How you join
Texting is optional and always has been. You opt in by ticking the text messaging box on our estimate form at vplandscapeaz.com/quote, by choosing “Text” or “Email and text” on the Account screen of your customer portal, or by replying START to a message from us. We never switch a customer to text messaging on our own.
Consent is not a condition of any purchase. If you do not opt in you will hear from us by email instead, and your price, your schedule, and everything else about your service are unaffected.
How often we message
Message frequency varies with the service you have. Most customers receive fewer than 10 messages per month.
Cost
Message and data rates may apply. We do not charge you for these messages, but your mobile carrier may, depending on your plan. Check with your carrier if you are unsure.
How to stop
Reply STOP to any message from us. We stop immediately, your account switches back to email, and nothing else about your service changes. You can also change your preference at any time on the Account screen of your portal, or by calling us.
Reply START if you later want to turn messages back on.

Carriers
Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery depends on your carrier and your device, and we cannot guarantee that every message arrives.
Supported carriers
The program is supported by the major US carriers, including AT&T, Verizon Wireless, T-Mobile, and their affiliated and regional carriers. Carrier support can change without notice.
Your privacy
We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile number or your consent to be texted with third parties for their marketing purposes. See our Privacy Policy for the detail, including the service providers who help us deliver these messages.
Changes
If we change these terms we will update this page and the date at the top of it. Material changes to how we use text messaging will not be applied retroactively to a consent you gave under different terms — we would ask you again.
